I was born and raised in Wayne, WV. I went to Marshall University where I earned a double major in criminal justice and psychology. My husband and I both came here for law school. I went to Capital and he went to Ohio State. We have a black lab named Buddy who rules my world.
In my spare time, I love to garden. I’d plow my entire yard if it wouldn’t cause my husband and neighbors to boot me from the neighborhood. I also love to fish, (actually, I love to catch) and I love trapshooting.
Something people might not know – I’m a closet mechanic/repair person. I love to google sounds or issues with my vehicle; diagnose the problem and fix it. I’ve been known to do that with central air conditioners, furnaces, you name it. I think it comes from being the oldest of four girls and my dad not having a son. I couldn’t help but like this stuff.
Favorite part about the city my office is in – I work at several of our offices. In Dublin, I love the look and feel of the downtown area. I love that you can go to a Starbucks or Donatos anywhere else and it just feels like Starbucks or Donatos. When you go in Dublin, that old world charm makes it feel like an adventure. In Delaware – what’s not to love! I moved to Delaware because of the small town feel and the feeling of everybody knowing everybody. It hasn’t disappointed. It may be one of the fastest growing counties in the nation, but it still feels like home to me. From family ran restaurants to farmer’s markets on Saturday mornings; Delaware is an ideal place to live and work.
